That's a tough question. Well, we have a habit of really enjoying most places we visit. Of course, there are various levels to this love. Our feelings about the places we visit are dynamic, always changing. Every place we travel to leaves an impression. But, of the 37 countries we've lived/visited, so far, we do have some favorites.
Favorite Trip: Morocco
Favorite Place to Eat: Israel
Favorite Spot to Relax: Bora Bora
Favorite Adventure: Norway
Favorite City: Cairo
Favorite Place to Live: Tie between Barcelona and Copenhagen
Favorite Country: France is the one place that stirs up all of the feels. It's all of the little pieces that make this country so unique. The people, food, the vibe, and the way of life.
How were you able to quit your jobs and travel full time?
The road to self-employment really began in 2015 when we dug ourselves out of $60,000 in debt and radically changed our money habits. We were working full-time at Disney and our small audio job on the side began to grow into something we absolutely loved to do. We made the decision that we wanted to do this full-time. We wanted flexibility in our schedule, we wanted to ditch the 60-minute commute, we wanted to be free — not from working in general, but from doing work that didn’t require being chained to a cubicle. Most importantly, we wanted to travel the world full-time!
What is one meal that you’ve discovered that you’d make back home?
We would have to say, Green Shakshuka. This version can be found in Israeli cafes and restaurants for those who want a change of pace from regular shakshuka. The color is great, as is the taste - especially with fresh bread on the side.
